Simon Bridges – CEO of Auckland Business Chamber

Simon Bridges is a former New Zealand politician who served as the Member of Parliament for Tauranga from 2008 to 2022. A member of the National Party, he held key ministerial roles, including Minister of Transport and Minister for Economic Development. In 2018, Bridges became the leader of the National Party and Leader of the Opposition.  He retired from politics in 2022 and is currently the CEO of the Auckland Business Chamber.

Cameron Bagrie – managing director of Bagrie Economics

Cameron Bagrie is a prominent New Zealand economist known for his expertise in economic analysis and forecasting. He was the Chief Economist at ANZ Bank New Zealand for over a decade, where he gained a strong reputation for his insights on the New Zealand economy. After leaving ANZ in 2018, Bagrie founded Bagrie Economics, an independent consultancy providing economic advice and analysis to businesses, government, and investors. He is also a frequent commentator in the media on economic trends and policy issues.
